April 1st, 2023: The Lack Of April Fools, Minecraft Voting Edition, etc.

Today was alright, but pretty boring.

I was hoping for more April Fools hoaxes or funny things for April Fools Day, but there's been an obvious absence of it. In the past years, Google created false advertisements. I remember a lot of funny ones, like the Google automated bicycle, and some of the ones from Japan have been pretty funny. like the keyboard that accepted input through you drawing on it. However, lately, they haven't created anything as a result of the pandemic, but even today, they didn't create any.

Today, Minecraft released the Minecraft Voting Edition. You could vote, and in some time, the vote would pass and something would change. It takes around 10-15 minutes for a vote to finally pass, but I like the update for its transformation on current Minecraft. It's a bit similar to the 20w14∞ update, but it's a lot more controlled. There's also a lot new items, which is fun. I haven't fully played it out, but it's going to be fun to play a server with friends with this April Fools update.

Have a good April Fools!
