August 27th: Lazy Day, Taquitos, and Teaching My Grandpa English
Today was boring.
I was even lazier than yesterday. I didn't even exercise today. I woke up early, wanting to do more, but I ended up procrastinating my homework until the deadline. I even took a nap today. At least I did all of my homework at the end of the day, but I definitely could've been more productive. For example, I could've done more of my Driver's ED.Â
I tried Taquitos for the first time today. I just bought a box from the supermarket yesterday. They were pretty good! I made them in the oven. I might buy them again the next time I go to the supermarket.
I also tried to teach my Grandpa English today. He needs to do a written test at the DMV to renew his Driver's License. He did one at the DMV, and he did good enough on the other questions, but he said he really struggled on the questions about signage. I tried to teach him "Left," "Right," "Only," "Turn," and "Yield." He can't remember them for too long since he is a bit old, but hopefully I can teach him well enough for him to pass his test. As he has joked, if he fails the test and can't drive again, he'll just buy an electric scooter. Hopefully he passes the test!
