August 28th: Robotics Interviews and Cross Country Practice

Today, I was very tired!

We held Robotics Interviews today. We had 3 interviewees. One during lunch, and two after school. The one during lunch was all of our first ones, and we only had 15 minutes to prepare for it, but it went alright. Our "flow" could've been better. All of the applicants seem well engaged with the interview, which is good.

Our school has also commissioned us to make a scoreboard for the soccer field! They'll be paying for everything. Unfortunately, we're going to be really busy until the end of the school year, so we'll probably be doing it over the summer. However, we'll be planning and designing for it right now to keep robotics engagement high for the new members.

I also had Cross Country Practice today. We did our regular mile run and exercises and stretches. Then, we did an endurance run for 50 minutes. I got really tired since I didn't eat lunch to make it to the Robotics Interview, but I'll remember to get lunch before the interviews tomorrow. My friend took my watch, so I don't know my times, but I know I ran 4.4 miles (I ran with someone until a certain point.)

Anyways, hopefully tomorrow is more well planned for me! I might go to practice late or something so that I can attend some of the interviews.
