December 8th: Robotics Duties, Shopping, and Babysitting
Today was not bad.
For Robotics, we reviewed the handbook and code of conduct that will be released to members to sign tomorrow, which was created by our head mentor, Mr. K. It looked good and fleshed out and I think it targets the most important points. We also finalized our roster and ended up adding one extra person to our roster. Hopefully she sticks around!
After school I got on my electric bike at 5:00 and went to Walmart to buy gifts for the white elephants that I am participating in this month. When I arrived at Walmart, I tried to lock my bike at their bike loop, but the loop was complete taken out of the concrete, so I just locked my bike up at a nearby metal post. All I could do was hope that no one had the effort to bring a ladder and lift my bike up and steal it đŸ˜€.
Fortunately, since it's holiday/shopping season, there were many gifts for me to select from. I don't want to disclose what I purchased since I'm sure someone will end up reading this and find out. I'll be going back tomorrow because I forgot to buy wrapping tissue and gift bags. I ended up returning home around 6:30.
When I came back home my baby nephew had just woken up. I helped babysit him until he got picked up at 8:30. He behaved alright today. When I was laying on the floor with him he clubbed me with one of his toys.
Thanks for reading,
