December 9th: Robotics Meeting, Shopping, and Night Biking
Today was good.
Today's Robotics meeting was only one hour long, and it was with parents to go over the handbook and code of conduct, which contained expectations for all members. I came early to help set up and staple papers.
After the meeting, I had lunch. After I had lunch, I went on my bike and went to Walmart, again, for the second day in a row! When I got there, I locked my bike next to the same pole as yesterday. Once again, I hoped that no one would steal my bike đŸ˜€.
In Walmart, I bought the gift bags and tissue paper that I needed for the white elephant gift exchanges that I am a part of this month. I also bought some Arizona iced tea for Robotics fundraisers. Unfortunately, the can sizes were smaller, but if we don't end up using them for any fundraisers, we'll probably drink them ourselves. Lastly, I bought some stationary, and I bought a bigger bike helmet for me to use, because I think it would be a good investment because I'm riding my bike more often.
At 8:00 I left my doors again on my bike to pick up dinner. This time, I learned how to turn on my headlight, which gave me some extra assurance on the road since it was so dark out. It was really cold out, so once I came across JOANN'S, I bought some gloves, which is also a good investment since I'll be walking to school in these colder temperatures. After I bought the gloves, I went to the restaurant, paid and picked up for the food, and rode back home.
Tomorrow there's a Cross Country potluck and White Elephant gift exchange, so hopefully we all have some good fun!
