Feburary 13th, 2023: Robotics, Weather, and Website Updates
Today was not bad, I can't complain.
Today I had robotics, and we continued to set up the drive train and electricals. Unfortunately, when we tried to connect the battery to the PDP, the cable length was too short, so we had to move our battery holder to another side so that it would connect. In the process, we also swapped out the 120AMP breaker to a newer one and installed those leads. Furthermore, we began to plug in the motors to the motor controllers, but some of them were stripped, so we had to spend some time figuring out how to install new housings and contacts. We managed to figure out almost all of it, but we still just need to install the rest. After that, we just need to program the robot and we'll have a fully functioning drivetrain! Overall, I'd consider today to be pretty productive for what we could do!
The weather has been getting more wintery. The wind has been picking up lately, and it's just overall pretty cold outside. Oh well, hopefully it rains or this chill weather will not amount to anything.
So far, on the website, I've just changed the blog page so that the buttons look a little better and more organized. I've also made sizing adjustments on most devices for that page. I've also been working on some hidden pages, not linked anywhere on the website. They're just for testing purposes or I haven't found the time to finish them yet. I've also modified the menu bar since on some sizes, not everything shows up. I'll probably continue to edit it if I add even more pages to the site.
Thanks for reading,
