Feburary 14th, 2023: Robotics, Valentines Day, and Rainbows
Today was decent. Sadly, no Valentine for me.
In Robotics today, we finished crimping and connecting the wires from our motors to our motor controllers. Now, we just need to program it. Todays meeting was only one hour long since there wasn't too much to do. So, we only were able to crimp the wires and connect them. We might need to make a modification to our chassis, since we might need to adapt it to our manipulator mechanism. We'll need to decide that on our sunday meeting. Furthermore, I signed up to be the pit manager for competition day, so I'm pretty excited about that. My first official-feeling role on the team!
Of course, I can't forget that today is Valentine's day aswell. I was deciding what to wear, and I completely forgot to wear red, so I ended up wearing black. I was only reminded of Valentine's day once I got to school. In my school's equivalent to homeroom, we were writing cards, but I just wrote the lyrics to All Girls Are The Same by Juice WRLD. Oh well, maybe I'll be luckier next year.
While I was walking home from school today, I found a rainbow! It was almost a double rainbow, but the arc in the center was missing. It was pretty cool! I remember one time, in middle school, when I was walking to school, I saw a complete, double rainbow. That was pretty cool, but I didn't have any photos of it. Anyways, after I saw it, it started raining so I had to start running home.
