Feburary 18th, 2023: Running, My Restauraunt Dream, and Chess

     Nothing much happened today.

This evening I had a run in the night. It was very nice. The cold air feels pretty good, and running when the sun isn't up is nice as well. The crisp, chill air is just relaxing. I used to run in the morning right when I got up, but I don't have the time to do that anymore.

I had a dream where I worked in a restaurant. There was a ginormous whiteboard for the restauarant to write their "specials of the day" on. In the restaurant, I forgot to put in a customer's order in, so I had to talk to the kitchen staff in spanish. Their POS was also really complicated, so I couldn't do anything or take any orders. I wouldn't exactly consider it to be a nightmare, but it was slightly stressful.

Chess.com released their Luk.AI bot. They claim that it learns from beating Chess.com accounts. It's like the actual Chat-GPT but it's actually using artificial intelligence. I think it would be extremely cool to train a chess bot this way, and Chess.com has a great avenue since they have so many active players daily, but can we really verify that they are training this bot using this method? Can't they just change the ELO of stockfish? Anyways, if Chess.com were to train a bot like this, I wonder how high of an ELO it can achieve. Higher than a human? At that point, they would need to use genetic algorithims to keep increasing the abilities of the bot.
