Feburary 21st, 2023: Chinatown, Weather, and Spicy Food
Today was pretty good!
Today I went to Oakland's Chinatown with my grandparents to replace some clipper cards, buy some groceries, and eat lunch. First we went down to buy new clipper cards, which was a smooth process. Then we went to shooting star cafe. It was a pretty good experience, the waitress helped my grandma order since she was getting her dentures replaced. The service was a rather slow on my grandpa's congee, but everything tasted pretty good. Next, I split off from my grandparents. While they bought groceries, I went to the library. I found some SAT books and books for preparing for AP exams, which will be very useful for when the time comes. After, we went home. It was a pretty good time in Chinatown.
It was really windy today. Winds were going around 24 mph! While I was driving home from Chinatown there were tree branches everywhere and trees were swinging back and forth. I keep wanting to go back to the shoreline, but because of the wind, my grandparents don't let me.
I haven't eaten spicy food in a long time. I think after eating the 2x Spicy Buldak Ramen, my body is scared of spice. I mean, I guess it's beneficial to stop eating so much spicy food. I used to slather hot oil on everything I ate.
