Feburary 4th, 2023: Music, Rain, and Lemons

I don't have much to write about, I was rather busy today, but not much I can talk about.

In my music class, the class had to choose between Viva La Vida by Coldplay and City Of Stars from La La Land. Now, I've heard about Viva la Vida, it's very popular. I was certain that the class would choose Viva La Vida, since our AP World History teacher gave us the text and exposed us to the similarities that the song had with the French Revolution. We've all heard it and love it! However, I was rather shocked when City Of Stars won the vote. I can agree that it sounds great, but so does Viva La Vida. Since Viva La Vida is more popular, I thought it would win, but I guess I was proven wrong.

Anyways, I'm learning Viva La Vida for music class, so I thought I'd talk about that.

It rained a lot today, and it was decently windy. Great for the environment, but I'm still waiting for the sun to come out and for spring to happen. The rain is great and all, but I'd love some sun and spring as well.

My grandma picked this really large lemon from my auntie's backyard. It's almost as large as a grapefruit! We still haven't opened it yet, since we don't really have a use for lemons yet. I'm wondering just how much of it is actual lemon flesh and how much of it is rind. I'll post an image of it, and I'll make sure to update when we eventually open it.

Thanks for reading,

Issac
