Feburary 8th, 2023: Robotics Electrics, Roblox Simulators, and MasterChef

Today was alright. Some interesting things happened

Today my teacher came back, and we were able to hold a robotics meeting. While we were installing the electrical board to our chassis/drive train, it turns out that there wasn't enough space to properly horizontally install it, flat on the chassis. So, we first took out the bolt from the axle for the wheels. Then board was hitting the gearboxes, which wasn't the end of the world, but it meant that we had to take those off to install the board too. In addition, the ethernet cable connected to the RoboRIO was hitting the top lip of the chassis. In the end, since we didn't have enough time, we could only rotate the RoboRIO so that the ethernet cables weren't getting caught on the lip of the chassis. We still need to sand down the acrylic board, re-install some of the beams, and finish installing everything. We've got a lot of work ahead for us.

Last night I played a really funny Roblox game, it was called "live in a back alley simulator," and it was really funny. There were a bunch of sound effects, and overall it was a pretty humorous experience.

I've been watching MasterChef lately. I'm not exactly a cook, nor a chef in any capacity, but I find the chefs abilities and the speed and pressure to be fascinating. I especially enjoy the wholesome moments, especially in MasterChef Canada.

Thanks for reading,
