July 21st, 2023: SSH, Laptop Fixing, and Babysititng
Today was OK.
On my Minecraft Server, I added SSH (Secure Socket Shell). Now, instead of using RDP, which was already more convenient, now doing everything will be even more convenient, because everything can be done through the terminal. Also, as it turns out, when enabling the GUI for the Minecraft Servers, it made the server lag a lot more. Disabling the GUI made the performance increase A LOT Instead of starting in 20 seconds, my Minecraft Servers start within 10 seconds!
Today, I also had to fix my neighbor's computer. The hinge was broken. However, she kept using it even when it was broken. As a result, the hinge broke even further, and the plastic that was holding the screw holes broke. I fixed it by re-screwing in the screws into the screw holes and black electrical tape. Luckily, her computer was black as well, so it fit in and isn't too noticeable. At the same time, I also cleaned up the dust in it.
Anyways, while doing all of that, I had to help babysit my baby cousin. He behaved alright.
