July 22nd, 2023: More Laptop Fixing, School Shopping and Homework

Today was not bad.

Today, when I tried to give back the computer that I fixed yesterday, the neighbor said that it wasn't just the hinge, the computer was slow as well. Today, she gave me the password. To fix it, I updated it, cleared the cache, removed some viruses, and did some overall maintenance. It runs a lot better now, but it would be a lot better if I could do a complete reset. It seems like there weren't any backups made, but at the same time, it also looks like there weren't any personal files at all. Anyways, after I finish this last virus scan, I'll probably give it back, but also add that if it continues to be too slow for use, I'll do a complete wipe of the drive and completely re-install Windows 10.

Earlier today, I also went to Walmart to buy school supplies. I bought some new binders and dividers, and some pencil lead, and some new pens. The pens I bought last year were way too sharp and too small for me, and I write hard, so I couldn't write well with them. I used them on my AP World History Exam, which is maybe why I didn't score as well as I hoped on it. Anyways, hopefully the pens I bought today are better!

I also did some homework today. I mainly just read, but Hopefully I finish reading soon so I can actually do the assignment.

Thanks for reading,
Issac
