July 28th, 2023: Cross Country Conditioning (Day 5)

Today was not bad.

Today was the 5th and final day of Cross Country Conditioning. As usual, we started off with a mile run. Then, we did leg exercises and stretches. Today, the twist was that we ran as fast as possible. We ran 1 mile as fast as possible, then took a break, then ran a second mile as fast as possible. I was able to run the first one pretty well, but because I ate a little too much before running, my side began cramping on the last lap. Anyways, for the second one, I had to slow down a lot. After that, we did a full body workout. Then, my teacher made the announcement that they would also be holding optional runs for the next week. Fun! I guess it's good to always be running to stay in the best shape.
