June 19th, 2023: Summer Slow Jams 2023: Idle (Day 9)

Today was alright.

I had to babysit my nephew for most of the day, so not much development happened. I did make some GUI elements and implemented the enemy spawning, but I still need to work on off-screen collisions and actual AI and the fighting mechanics. It's pretty late at night while I write this, but I know how to implement what I need, so hopefully I won't take too long. After that, I've set up everything technical for the open-world part. Tomorrow, I intend to create a working GUI and implement saving, then everything I do from that point on will be more creative, which will be fun.
