March 14th, 2023: Robotics, The Weather, And Pi Day
Today was alright. As it comes closer to competition day, I get more and more tired. Luckily, I'm not too bothered by it.
In Robotics, we got a decent amount of items done. We finished adding lubricant to our new motors and attaching them onto our gearboxes. For our bumpers we also finished drilling in the brackets. However, we'll need to drill in new holes since we drilled them slightly off. We might also need to re-staple the fabric, since it's causing the holes to not be able to line up. We also cut some spacers for our gripper mechanism and decided on how long our rod that'll be attached to our gripper will be.
It was so windy today! My blue hat, that I normally wear, flew off my head a couple times. The winds were nearing ~26 miles per hour. It was also raining when I was walking to school. Nearing the end of our Robotics Meeting, I thought that it looked like it was snowing a little, but it was just a little mist.Â
Today is Pi day! It's 3/14, like 3.14, or Pi. My school was going to host a Pi day event, where we could pie teachers in the face, but because of the high winds, we couldn't. For me, I can remember up to 3.14159265358 (11 digits), which isn't a lot, but I'm somewhat proud of it.
