March 2nd, 2023: Minecraft 1.20, Website, and Keep-Away

Today was OK. I was pretty tired throughout the day but it's alright.

Minecraft just released the name for the Minecraft 1.20 update. It's called "The Trails & Tales Update." It makes a lot of sense, because many aspects of the update allow people to really amplify their creations and builds. I especially like the display entities, they really allow map makers to make it feel like you're using mods in a vanilla world.

Ever since moving my website to Google Sites, the results on google have been messed up, since they all still point to the links of the old website. Today, I finally got the sitemap working on Github Pages, so hopefully that'll fix some of the issues. All the links still need to get into the search results, but hopefully after uploading the new sitemap, there won't be any more issues. I've already tried submitting outdated content requests, but even after they were approved, they still show up. Anyways, I have yet to make this site feel a little more lively and cooler, so hopefully I can get to that soon. When I was still using Namecheap's Website Builder, I made a draft for a Games section for the website, but I still need to get started on that with the new website.

Today I played Keep-Away (Monkey In The Middle) with my friends during breaktime. It was pretty fun with multiple people and multiple monkeys. It was the most amount of exercise I had gotten in a long time since I've been pretty busy. Even our teacher got in and played with us! Thanks Mr. McNulty.
