May 15th, 2023: AP Exams Are Finally Over!!!

Today was quite good.

Since it's been 2 days after the AP World History exam, I can finally talk about it. I think I did pretty badly on it. I was really hoping for a 5, but I think I really should've become more studious and focused and studied a lot more. I think I did alright on the multiple choice section of it. For most of the topics, I was pretty familiar with them. The SAQs were alright, I didn't right anything for a good 3 minutes because I was thinking, but I think I did well enough. I was just missing one part of one question. I finished my DBQ, which was about middle eastern women challenging social norms. A quite obscure topic considering the entire curriculum, I think we only had 2 lectures and 5 terms regarding Islam and social norms for women. My context and outside information might be poor, but I think I did alright for everything else. I think I might still score the context if I'm lucky. Unfortunately, I did horrible on my LEQ. I completely mistimed everything, and I ended up spending way too much time for the DBQ. I only had 10 minutes for my LEQ. my thesis was incorrect, but I think I did alright for the context.

I was really hoping for a 5, but according to the albert.io 2022 AP World History calculator I got a 4, which I'll settle for. I'm pretty unconfident for that number, so I think I might get a 3, but I'm really hoping for a 4. When I told my AP World History teacher about how I did, he sounded pretty disappointed in me.

If I score poorly, I might consider only retaking the exam next year. At the same time, I do need to improve my study skills and become more disciplined for my other APs that I will be taking.

Anyways, good luck to everyone else on the AP Exams. It's finally over, take a break and relax.
