October 10th: Cross Country Practice
Today was good.
In Cross Country Practice today, we went to Lake Chabot so that we could get some practice running hills. We first did our basic stationary warm-up, excluding the exercises on the ground. Then, we ran up the hill until we reached the bridge. At the bridge, we did hill repeats. We sprinted running up the hill until we plateaued, then we ran back down as fast as possible. We only had enough time to do this 5 times. Then, after catching our breath, we jogged back to the parking lot, where we did our cooldown, and we drove back home.
I've never actually been to Lake Chabot, so it was a really cool sight to see, especially near sunset.
