October 16th: Chess Club and Cross Country Practice

Today was good.

In Chess Club, I played a game against someone and I won.

In Cross Country Practice, we did our regular warm-up and exercises. Then, we ran 3 miles to the shoreline, then 3 miles back. Therefore, in total, we ran 7 miles today (1 mile warm-up + 6 miles non-stop round trip to the shoreline.) I ran around 10 minute miles, but my first and last miles were at a 9' 30" pace. A lot of people took over an hour, so a lot of people already left when we started our cool-down.

Hopefully we'll be prepared for our race this Wednesday!
