October 17th: Cross Country Practice and Robotics
Today could've been better.
We have a race tomorrow. We did our regular warm-up. Afterwards, we ran a 5k. We would've ran around the entire school, but the other exit was locked, so we all had to turn back around and just run around the field. My time was HORRIBLE, in my opinion. I ran the entire 5k in around 30 minutes. Normally, I would just spend 27 minutes or so. I think everyone was slowed down because we all had to stop because we had to suddenly change routes. Hopefully I do well on the race tomorrow!
For Robotics, the electrical and engineering team researched what parts we had to buy, while the programming team thought about what we had to program and put the tasks as cards in the backlog, and afterwards, they continued the course on codecademy. Honestly, I'm not sure what I should be doing with the programing team. I think our advisor and I have opposing views on what the programming team should be doing.
