October 2nd: Robotics Meeting and Babysitting

Today was alright.

We had a robotics meeting today. The engineering team worked on mounting the motor and adding the bumper brackets. The electrical team worked with the business team to help organize the room and write grants. Some of the electrical team also helped fill in the gaps in our bumpers, because the bumper regulations require that the numbers are completely filled, so you can't have any cool fonts. We also packed some more items for CalGames, and I updated all of our laptops.

Some of the programming team also helped to collect information regarding CalGames, and if people would be attending, along with if they have had all of the required forms filled out. I worked with reviewing the basics with the other programmers, who were behind on their courses or were having trouble understanding.

Overall, today was pretty productive, but more could've been done.

When I got home, I had to babysit my baby nephew. He was a bit fussy because he was very hungry. When I tried to give him water, he said "no thank-you." When I heard him say that, my heart absolutely melted. I was so happy that he was beginning to pick up words around him.

Anyways, after we ate, I played with him a little, then I did some work for 30 minutes. After that, I helped him take a bath, but then I laid on the couch and fell asleep for an hour.

I really hope that I sleep earlier tonight so that I don't take a nap when I get home tomorrow.
