October 22nd: Robotics and Homework

Today was alright.

There was a Robotics Meeting today. We started the meeting off with a airplane contest. I made the cylinder paper airplane, but I didn't shoot well enough.

Anyways, the electrical team had a lecture, demonstration, and practice, which was nice to hear. The engineering team began to create the chassis for our upcoming competition, Mechanical M-Ayhem.

For the programming team, we first had to install git to all of the computers so that we could all work on practicing using our old robot, SimBot. Today the programming team was comprised of all of the more knowledgeable members, so we could make a lot of progress. We started off learning about git, then we assigned tasks on Trello. Afterwards, we began doing the tasks. We got to importing the required libraries and creating a new controller scheme, so we will continue programming the robot in a later meeting.

After the meeting, I ate lunch and I did a bit of my homework and did some planning for Robotics. I procrastinated a lot after the Robotics Meeting, but I was fortunate to finish most tasks in time.

Hopefully tomorrow is productive!
