September 1st: The First Day Of September, Robotics, and Running

Today was alright.

Today is the first day of September! Hopefully this month is productive and that I have restful sleep every night.

In Robotics, we were pretty busy today. We had an interview, and luckily I made it to school on time to attend it. I was the only one who was doing the interview. I think it went alright, but since I had to focus on speaking and typing, it was a bit difficult. Later in the day, we discussed about how our teams will work for the off-season competition, CalGames. Anyways, next week, we'll be doing a fundraiser, interviews, AND we'll be talking to mentors over zoom. Also, we have monday off for labor day, so we won't have much time to discuss and hold meetings. Additionally, I also have XC practice, so all I can do is really hope that I can balance everything. Lastly, after school, our mentor was unavailable since he had to return a favor to a coach and drive the soccer team to a game, so it was just 3 people conducting an interview. It was a bit awkward. Anyways, we sent out the acceptance emails to applicants which we were the most confident in accepting them, and fooled around a bit as well.

I also ran 2 miles at night today. If I wanted to do 3 miles, my pace would've been great - 9' 30". I'll try to run a 5k tomorrow and beat my record!

Also, Happy Birthday, Justin!
