September 14th: XC Practice and Robotics

Today was alright.

In Cross Country practice, we did our regular warm up. Today, the soccer team had a game after school, so the field was cleared. So, our coaches gave something pretty damn tiring and difficult. There isn't an exact name for it, but we all call it the 1-2-3-4. Basically, you sprint one side, walk one side, sprint two sides, walk two sides, sprint three sides... I hope you get the idea, it's a bit confusing. Anyways, we did two sets of those 1-2-3-4 sprints, then we did a full body work out. We ended with dreaded frog-jumps. Fortunately, the frog jumps were a shorter distance than the other day.

In Robotics, the team leads worked on the robot. After scourging around the classroom, they actually found the encoders which we thought were lost 5 months prior. Hopefully we can put them to use in time for our off-season competition!
