September 21st: Cross Country Practice and Babysitting
Today was alright.
The air quality continues to be pretty bad, but it's slowly improving. It's down to 100 AQI.
Anyways, a lot of people didn't show up to practice. Perhaps it's because of the poor air quality. I know some of my friends didn't come because they thought it would be cancelled because the meet was cancelled as well. We did our regular warm up. Then, we did mile repeats. My first mile, I got 8' 28". Then, on my second one, I got 8' 40". At this point, my side was hurting a lot. Afterwards, on my third and final mile, I got 8' 23", which is a new recorded record for me (by 4 seconds). According to my watch, my fastest time by myself was 7' 23". Hopefully I can run that fast when my coach is recording the time!
Anyways, after practice, I had to babysit my baby nephew. He misbehaved quite a bit today.
