April 13th: Stanford Math Tournament 2024

Today was good.

I woke up at 6 to be ready by 7AM, so that my friend Braulio could drive me to Stanford for the Stanford Math Tournament 2024! Thank you so much Braulio!

We arrived around 8AM and got checked in. Unfortunately, the line was long, so we had to miss the opening ceremony, but we at least made it in time for all of our tests. One of our other teammates, Hugo, also didn't arrive at all, which sucked.

Unfortunately, I have to keep privacy of the exam information until tomorrow at midnight. For now, I'll say although we didn't do well, it was still an experience to be had. Still, we went with the expectation of getting destroyed, but grateful for the experience. Hopefully next year we'll do better! Thank you to the SMT coordinators!
