April 15th: Robotics Meeting
Today was alright.
Lunch has ended early once again at my school. Lately there have been many school fights. Though initially a little humorous (in my perspective, once the punches start flying people start flocking), it's been pissing me off lately because I've had to miss finishing my physics quiz TWICE.
Here is Luka's perspective: "There were dumb fights going on at school. Our lunch had been ended early and it was just chaotic."
Anyways, after school, in today's robotics meeting, we recapped the East Bay Regional, we discussed about reelections for the leadership team, went over what needs to get done and upcoming events for the robotics team, and talked about returning interviews.
I'm not sure what lead role I want. Ideally, for me, I would like to run to be both the team captain and the programming co-lead/lead. I'd like to be invested in the programming team because I think that if we got to finish our programming, our robot would've been able to automate and do cooler things on the field, but I'd also like to be team captain because I think the team needs more push and ushering on project management so that we stay on track to finishing the robot on time. Unfortunately, the seniors have barred members from having multiple roles, because "they would have too much on their plate" and they "don't want conflicts of interest and priority over certain things."
