April 20th: Robotics Meeting and Homework

Today was well.

I arrived a little late, but in today's robotics meeting, the programming team managed to get some major development milestones completed. First, the programming team finished implementing the note alignment code with our main code, and it works pretty damn well! It manages to align the robot with the note using the limelight pretty quickly, in less than 1 second. It could use a little bit of optimization for the driver experience, but it's still a major improvement compared to the previous iteration. We also finally got readings from the encoder. We're one step closer to estimating the position of the robot on the field, which will allow us to create some auto routines and allow our robot to align with the speaker. We'll be implementing more of the pose estimation tomorrow.

Anyways, the engineering team and the electrical team helped organize and clean up the closet by a significant degree. It was so spacious, I could do jumping jacks in there!

After the meeting I ate lunch then I took a nap. Afterwards, I got started with my Spanish homework. I didn't finish it today, but hopefully, I should be able to finish all of my homework this week since I got a bit of a head start. However, I do have an economics quiz, but hopefully I do well in it!

Thanks for reading,
Issac
