April 2nd: Running Errands With Family and Robotics Meeting
Today was good.
For the first time since forever, the schedule of my family matched up, and we were all free. We went to run some errands as a family. We started at 10am and we finally came back home at around 4pm.
Afterwards, since there was still time, I attended the robotics meeting. When I got there we all went to home depot to buy some screws so that the engineering team could finish mounting the lifting mechanism. Afterwards, when we came back, near the end of the meeting, the engineering team finished installing the lifters, which means that the electrical team can move on with installing the motors tomorrow. After the electrical team is finished, the programming team can finally make use of the vision sensors that we have, and hopefully we can finish some teleOp movement code, as well as some automatic positioning code. Hopefully we can also test the lifters! It seems that we will be pretty busy over the next few days leading up the East Bay Regional.
