April 4th: Robotics Meeting

Today was alright.

In today's robotics meeting, the electrical team rewired the radio to a new location and finished managing the cables. It took a while, but we finally were able to test the robot at around 4 o' clock, after another issue with wiring the intake motors.

We were able to improve our simple teleOp code a little bit by reducing the turning speed to 40%. The lifter code is also functional now.

We tested some PID directional code for our field centric driving and our limelight automatic intake code. It appears that we may have misunderstood our PID output values, but we ran out of time so we'll need to test and optimize tomorrow.

Our hopes for tomorrow is that we can at least get our automatic intake code and our field centric driving done, as this will improve our driving the most. Unfortunately, we're not too sure if we can get our automatic shooting aiming code finished, but we'll just need to hope and see.

Tomorrow is the practice matches of East Bay Regional! Wish us luck!
