August 12th: First Day Of School, Five Guys, Biking to Chabot, and Gardening
Today was tiring but not bad.
For the first day of school, it was just school wide orientation. It was cool going to school early for once, but more importantly, it was cool seeing acquaintances and friends that I haven't seen for a while!
After school, I went to Chabot to talk to a counselor about getting a prerequisite override. On the way, I stopped by Five Guys for lunch. I think Five Guys is really good. All of the toppings add an important element to the burger. I've never had mushrooms on my burger before, but I find it adds a really satisfying texture to the burger. The fries were also really nice.
After that, I went to Chabot to talk to a counselor. I was able to be cleared to take Calculus 2, but unfortunately, I have to wait a little for processing. I'm hoping that I can survive the course load this semester.
After I came back home, I went to gardening. Over the summer, I have been trying to germinate some seeds in my fridge using cold stratification, and they've been sprouting roots. My grandma helped me set the seeds up. Hopefully they sprout! I also finished potting my plant from home depot. I think a bit of nature in my room is good. It's the first time I've owned a plant in my room!
