August 28th: A Really Horrible Day!!
Today was f*cking crap!!!
In the afternoon the cross country team drove to the meet location. It was a really hilly school. We ran it for the finals conference race last year. Last year, I ran 24'50". Today was really hot and my shoes were untied and I ran 26' 45"! I was really hoping to PR again since 24'50" was my PR, but I'm really disappointed in my time.
After that, when we finally got back on campus, I attended a good portion of the robotics meeting so we were able to do a good chunk of work and finish off a grant.
After that I biked home and I had to rush. It was then that I realized that my bike had a flat tire. I think I heard it pop, but I didn't realize that it was so serious. I pumped it up and I left, but my bike quickly lost all of the air. I abandoned it at a local park and I started running to the bus stop. I contemplated ordering an uber.
When the bus finally came I boarded onto it and I didn't realize I missed my bus stop so I had to run a couple hundred feet more, which was tiring. I arrived to class late.
Then, to be honest, I didn't really what was happening in Calculus class. Perhaps part of this is because I arrived late. I think a large part is that the professor is sort of hard to understand and I don't have time to really study outside of class. Maybe this is how college works, and I really contemplating quitting. I pretty much am wasting time staying in lecture and I will later have to end up looking up another lecture to understand what I will need to execute on homework or exams.
Then, I barely missed the bus, so I had to wait for another 20 minutes for the bus to come. When I finally ran back to where I abandoned my bike, I tried to pump my bike back up, but it was loosing so much air, much more than when I pumped it up again at home. Maybe I got my tires slashed or something 🤷♂️
It was 10PM at that point, so I had to call my father 😔
I have to work this weekend.
I have so many things I have to do.
Fortunately it's labor day so I still kind of have a weekend. I really want to sleep though.
