August 3rd: Jacques' Kitchen Revenge Update, Haircut, and Running

Today was good, but it could've been more productive.

I updated my latest game, Jacques' Kitchen Revenge. Now, offline leaderboards actually work! Though they may not be online, I'm happy that there IS a form of a leaderboard. The fix was actually really, really simple. I accidently left a line of code that tries to access a variable that's null when decoding the leaderboard from cookies. As a result, whenever the leaderboard was loaded from a fresh state, everything was cleared.

There's more bugs and more improvements to be made, but I need to get my priorities in order and be productive.

After that, I got a haircut after a long, long time. It's my first new style after almost 17 years of life! I'm so happy about it. I also bought gel for my haircut. Hopefully others think it looks good!

To get my gel, I ran to Walgreens. For the first leg, I ran well, but for the second leg, I ran out of steam.
