February 2nd: Literature Club, Homework, and Babysitting
Today was not bad. I got to get off school early today since I didn't have anything to do after school today.
During lunch break I attended a literature club meeting. We read half of a short story called "The Lottery." If I'm being honest, it was a bit confusing, but I'll try to find the time to re-read the portions I didn't understand.
When I got home my baby nephew had just woken up from his nap. He was very energetic today. He literally never stopped moving.
Here's a funny story from today; at first I thought he wanted the water since he was reaching for it. Then he said "no" and got the jar of peanut butter. When I put the peanut butter on a spoon and tried to give it to him he didn't want it. Then he wanted to watch TV, and I had finally met his demands.
Anyways, when he finally left, I got a lot of my homework done, which I'm happy about. Hopefully I can sleep earlier tonight! I still need to study the new handbook more in depth so I can ace the rules quiz I need to complete to get onto the driver team for the robotics team.
Thanks for reading,
