January 17th: Falling Off Of My Bike and Robotics Meeting

Today was not so good. It was the first day I was late to school EVER! So, I rode my bike to school. Since I was in a rush, I also forgot my water.

At the end of the school day I rushed home on my bike to get my bottle of water and return in time for the robotics meeting. However, my front bike tire crumpled and I was thrown off of my bike. Fortunately, I didn't get seriously injured, although I have a couple scrapes here and there, and my back sort of hurts. I hope that my bike is repairable. To make it to the robotics meeting on time, I got on my electric bike.

Anyways, at the meeting, we got yelled at for not updating our Trello cards, so we did that at the start of our work time before everything else. Afterwards, some other folks and I got started on repairing the laptop. As it turns out, me staying up until 2am last night was not helpful, because the superglue was not strong enough to keep the screw holes in place. So, after some consultation with our mentor, Mr. K, we decided that we'll probably be ditching this laptop in favor of a new laptop. For now, we have taken off the display from the laptop and moved the WIFI antennae to the bottom half of the laptop. Unfortunately, the power button is integrated with the keyboard, so if we were to place it with the rest of the laptops, the robotics laptop would turn on by itself. For now, we've placed it elsewhere.
