January 18th: Robotics Meeting
Today, I was very, very tired.
I stayed up until 3AM last night programming a POS system for our fundraisers. I'm tired of having to balance everything after every fundraiser. Instead, in order to increase accuracy, the POS system will be used to track all sales throughout the duration of a fundraiser, and at the end of it, we'll tally everything according to the results.
When using the POS system today, everything was balanced! No extra math had to be done, which was awesome!
Anyways, there were some bugs in the POS though, but they would be fixed later in the day.
In the meeting after school, honestly, we were pretty productive. The programming team split up to complete the necessary work. Some of the members worked on improving the POS system. Another few members were focused on finishing up their learning on C++. Another member was focused on designing the end game chain hook climber system. Lastly, me and a couple other members were figuring out the math for the IMU. I'm glad I took physics!
The engineering team made some improvements on the intake system, and they also used some spare wood for prototyping. Other teams were also very productive, which I'm very glad about.
