January 25th: AP Lang Debate, and Robotics Meeting
Today, I was very tired. In 1st period today, I we were supposed to be writing a lab report, but I decided to just put my head down because I was really tired.
We finished the AP Lang Debate today. One idiot explaining our last reason and evidence almost jeopardized us, but we still ended up winning! After the debate, we had to write the essay, and I'm pretty sure I failed it. Every one of my paragraphs has something important missing.
During the robotics meeting today, we managed to install windows 10 on the mac mini using boot camp. I still need to install the Windows Support tools, but unfortunately, we ran out of time at the end of the meeting so I had to cancel the download.
For the programming team, some continued to work on our POS system. It's becoming very feature rich! Others continued to learn more about programming, and another member and I worked with getting the IMU to work.
Speaking of the IMU... we gave up on it. We feel that the drift is too extreme. In just one second, it reports that the robot has moved 30 meters in one direction. We'll get some consultation from our mentor, Dr. Max, when we see him next time.
Thanks for reading,
Issac
