January 4th: Buying Groceries, Lunch With Grandma, and Working on My Server (Day 3)

Today was good.

I woke up at 10AM, which is rather earlier for me during this winter break!

At noon I went with my grandma to Foodmaxx to buy groceries. I went on my bike while my grandma was driven by my auntie. After we were done shopping, I went on my bike back home to drop off the groceries while my grandma got a seat at a Hong Kong Style restaurant. She ordered a clay pot rice, which would take a long time to arrive, which was good because it would take a long time for me to come back to the restaurant. I also ordered some soy sauce lettuce while we waited for the clay pot rice. All of the food was very yummy.

After we were done with our lunch I rode back on my bike to drop off the leftovers, as well as the lettuce (not from the restaurant) that my grandma was carrying that I couldn't fit on my bike at my house. Then, I biked back to check in with my grandma. I walked my bike with her and we bought some more groceries at the asian supermarket as well.

When I got home, she also asked me to walk her to the barber's shop. I almost fell asleep waiting for the barber to finish. Then, when we came back home, I was finally free to work on my server.

Today I finished locking down and securing the server environment in the event of a malicious hacker (which shouldn't happen with key-based authentication). I also started on getting ready for backing up the server files. After I'm done with that, I just need to setup key-based authentication and my server will be complete! I've been saying this every day, but hopefully I'm finished with my server tomorrow! This Saturday is the Kickoff day for the robotics team, where we learn about the new robot game for the 2024 season, so I have to put more attention for robotics.
