January 5th: Babysitting, Forgotten Password, Flat Tire

Today was BAD.

Holy crap, today was one of the worst days I've ever had, even worse than when I received my APWH exam score.

First off, I had to babysit my baby cousin. That's not too bad but he was very fussy today. He kept wanting to go outside to rip up the plants and he was rather picky.

Anyways, when I was backing up the old server files, I encrypted the drive using LUKS2. Of course, I added a passphrase.

The problem is, I forgot the passphrase. It's practically impossibly to recover. The only way is to brute force, but that would take several years...

Normally I write down passphrases but this time I didn't...

WHAT A STUPID MISTAKE!!!

I've just lost 5 years of Minecraft Server memories and history. I was prepared to finish setting up my server today too, but without any server files, there's nothing to play, so there's no point. I'll keep trying to think of the password, but in the meantime, all I can do is wallow in my sadness.

Then, my grandparents sent me to pickup a soy sauce chicken. On the road, my bike got a flat tire. 

What the hell?! Like I was already having a horrible day, and now I have to haul a heavy bike back to my house 1.5 miles! What's even worse is that the BACK TIRE got popped, so it's going to be a pain in the rear to fix it!

What a crappy way to start off the year!

Kickoff is tomorrow, but I don't think I can even enjoy it with all of the garbage that has just happened to me.
