July 19th: Sunset Showdown (Day 1)

Today could've been a lot better.

It's the first day of Sunset Showdown! Today, we woke up earlier to move all of our stuff to the pit area before there were a bunch of teams. We got to enjoy the ship while we waited for them to operate the massive elevator. After we set up the pit, we went home!

After we went home, I ate lunch and took a well needed nap, then I ate lunch, bought a bottled coffee from the liquor store, then went back to campus so that we could attend the practice matches.

Once everything was set in stone and everything was going well, we went to our first practice match. We got some practice in, but there were some serious issues with our drive train that we needed to diagnose.

Though we ended up not finding the issue, we may simply hope that we can fix it tomorrow. The problem is that one side is going slower than another side. At times, the robot is simply unable to even turn and do a 360. These issues weren't existent the other day, so we're all very confused, but we hope that we can fix the issue!
