June 11th: Chabot College Visit

Today was good.

It was crazy hot today. The UV Index was apparently 11. I didn't even know it could go that high!

At 1PM (The peak of the heat) I got on my bike to bike to Chabot College. I saw a counselor there, where I discovered that no matter what, I wouldn't be able to graduate with an associates degree because of the unit restrictions, as well as the restriction that high school concurrent enrollment students are not allowed to enroll into physical education courses, which are required for an associates degree in arts.

If I started a lot earlier, and if I saw a counselor a lot earlier, and if I had a form of transportation earlier, I think I would've been able to graduate with an associates degree in science. However, I'm settling with a certificate of Spanish. It will still be useful for me, and I hope to become really fluent in Spanish! I'm pretty sure that I will still get to walk the stage this Spring in Chabot College.

After I visited the counselor I got some lunch and I walked around campus. It's a decent size and pretty beautiful. I saw the STEM center, which was cool.

Thanks for reading,
Issac
