March 17th: Sleep, Robotics Meeting
Today was OK.
Early in today's robotics meeting, a small group of us went on a shopping trip. We needed to buy some tools for the engineering team, a smaller ethernet switch, and some arts and crafts materials for the public relations team.
Unfortunately, the ethernet switches that were available required too much power. So, we ended up not getting the ethernet switch, and instead we went to buy the tools for the engineering team. After that, we tried buying the ethernet switch at Target, but they didn't have it, so we bought the arts and crafts materials for the public relations team and left.
Afterwards, when we arrived, I found some more controllers, so I got some people to help clean it. Then, the other programmer members also got to work on commenting our code.Â
Near the last hours of the meeting the programming team was finally able to test our code. The electronic components were just wired together, not mounted, but that's all we needed! Unfortunately, when we tested, we had to update, but then the library was asking for our photonvision setup to updated to a version that wasn't released yet, so we had to clean up.
Anyways, hopefully we get the robot up and running again soon! Our internal deadline to finish our robot is the 23rd, that way programming has enough time to make advanced controls, and for the drive team to get some practice in.
