March 3rd: Robotics Meeting, Homework

Today was alright.

Today's robotics meeting was not bad. The engineering team attached on the sponsor plate and made a lot of progress on the cart. They also affixed a motor onto our launcher system, because last time it was just flying around.

Anyways, the electrical team helped with the voltage regulators we're using on the board. We've finally attached the step down module for our ethernet switch to the larger piece, but we still need to attach it to the PDP and the actual ethernet switch.

At first, we were having a lot of problems with our orange Pi and the step down module that was powering it. However, as it turns out, the cable we bought off of Amazon was the issue. It wasn't supplying enough power! So, After replacing it, it worked fine. We also wrote a bunch of test code, so we're ready to test! We just need to finish configuring photonvision to figure out the orientation of the field.

It looks like our robot will be finished soon, which I'm very excited about! Hopefully we can test soon.

We've also named our robot. It's Scar2D2!

Thanks for reading,
Issac
