March 6th: Robotics Meeting, Not Doing My Homework
Today I was rather tired.
In today's robotics meeting, the intake plates came in. So, the engineering team worked on installing the intake system. It should be finished tomorrow (which is our last day for working on the robot!)
The electrical team tried to install the step down module for the Ethernet switch. However, it didn't work despite us not soldering it. It's weird, because there's no place to ground the ethernet switch. It looks like we'll try to use it in the east bay regional.
For the programming team, we got pretty busy. We finished more of the code for the launcher mechanism. We also worked more on the joystick extenders. The model is rough because it was imported as a mesh, so a couple of members were working on fixing that issue.
For some reason, our photon vision calibration is really, really weird. We've posted a Chief Delphi post about it, so hopefully we get some help! We tried again with interfacing with photonvision with code, but we still weren't able to. We'll try again tomorrow.
In these last few days, I haven't been doing my homework, but instead I've been sleeping at 12AM. I'm getting more sleep, but I really need to do my homework too, since I'll be too busy during the competition.
