May 3rd: School Rally, Lego EV3, and Homework
Today was alright.
In the morning there was a school rally; the last rally of the entire school year. It was very loud but fun. First, the spring sports teams were congratulated. Then, there was a staff vs. student volleyball game. The students won! After, the Back Alley Boys, from the talent show, did a wonderful performance. Lastly, there was a performance of Jig 2 by the drumline. It was all very cool!
When I got home I improved my Lego EV3 robot. It was fun and relaxing. I'm using the old Mindstorms EV3 home 31313 kit, but operational for a regular FLL game. I'm currently using the medium motor to control the direction of a directional steering wheel, but I want to use some gears to create an output shaft for attachments as well.
I still have a bunch of homework I need to do but I want to relax for a little while. My entire body has been aching lately. The other day, at the same time, BOTH of my legs started cramping really badly.
Thanks for reading,
Issac
The large motors are being used to drive the main propulsion wheels.
There is a button sensor at the back of the main propulsion wheels.
The medium motor is being used for controlling the direction of the wheels.
There is an IR sensor so that the robot can be controlled remotely.
There's also a color sensor so that the robot can follow lines on the floor!
