November 1st: UC Berkeley Field Trip!

Today was awesome!

After 5th period, was 6th period, which I was able to easily skip without many repercussions, so I went on a field trip to UC Berkeley!

We got onto the school vans and made our way onto the highway to get to UC Berkeley. We had a fun time in the van listening to music.

When we arrived, we went to get our tour guide and we went around the school. We got to see many different and beautiful buildings. The campus is very scenic! We also learned a lot about the school, how being a student works, its history, and student life.

We also collected a bunch of our UC Berkeley friends! We saw Axel, my brother Richie, Emily, Christy, and we ended up seeing Laura in the end as well. Taylor also joined the tour group.

Austin and I went with our UC Berkeley friends to see around campus. We ended up wasting a bit of time playing foosball at the MLK student union. Then, Axel brought us to see the dorms. It felt small but reasonable, and it was cool to see an aspect of student life!

After an improper goodbye, Austin and I had to sprint back to our group so that we wouldn't get in trouble.

Today was so awesome because I got to see some of the people I hadn't seen in a long time and hang out a little with friends! Though it wasn't very productive, and I wasn't really able to study for the SAT tomorrow, I think it's good to have some fun and relax once in a while.
