November 22nd: AP Chemistry Test and Robotics Meeting

Today could've been a lot better, but it had its ups as well.

Before lunch break I had an AP Chemistry Test. I thought I was doing well, but there's at least 4 questions I got wrong out of my current expectation of 23 points. This means i might get an 82 percent, which I really didn't want to get. My teacher really needs to curve! The other assignments just aren't weighted high enough to balance it out, unlike a regular college class, where your tests might be 50%, but the rest of your grade is comprised of everything else. However, at my school your tests are 70%, and everything is 30%. I'm really disappointed for my test, I really needed this test to boost my grade.

During 6th period, instead of working on my college apps, I worked in robotics. We managed to finish the physical aspects of the robot! The last mechanical part was attaching the arm. Then, the electrical team got in and finished wiring. At first we thought there might've been some electrical issues prevent the components from communicating with each other, and there were some, but even then, not everything could connect with each other. After lots of troubleshooting and reconfiguring, I managed to track down all of the issues. Unfortunately, not enough Mechanical M-Ayhem students are coming, but we still managed to finish. Unfortunately, when we ran the code, it didn't work. We'll have to try tomorrow.

My school wanted me to submit my UC applications today. Unfortunately, I still need to work on my essays!

Thanks for reading,
Issac
