November 25th: Chabot Studying Day 1
Today I locked in!
In the morning, I went to Chabot College to help me lock in. First, I visited the Transfer Center, but there weren't any counselors available since it was so close to Thanksgiving break.
Then, I visited the WRAC (Writing and Reading Across the Curriculum) center for some writing advice and a space to write. However, I wasn't aware how to seek tutoring at the time. So, I went to the new library, which was very beautiful!
After getting roasted online for one of my PIQs, I got hungry after a bit of revising, so I visited Café Chabot (The Cafeteria. There's a sign saying "Café Chabot" at the top.) I got a super burrito, which was very delicious because I was craving Mexican food the week prior.
After lunch, I went to the STEM center to see my professor. In-person class was cancelled that day because of a power outage in our regular building, so it would be online.
I decided to visit the WRAC center again for tutoring, which I was guided to achieving. I showed the tutor my favorite PIQ, and for once, I wasn't roasted, which made me proud of myself. I couldn't stop smiling, though of course, there was a bit of valid feedback I had to apply. I returned to the top floor of the library where I rewrote a little bit.
Finally, I took the bus to reach halfway home and walked the rest of the way so I could attend class online in time. Today was pretty good, though I wish I could do even more. However, compared to how efficient I normally am at working, I'm proud of myself.
Thanks for reading,
