October 20th: Sleeping, Spanish Homework, and Procrastination

Today was OK.

Wow! I slept a lot! I intended to wake up at 7:30AM. Then, I took a short nap until 8:30AM. Finally, I got out of bed at 9:30AM After another small nap. After breakfast, and after reading a story for Spanish class, I took ANOTHER nap from 12PM to 1:30PM (Maybe the story put me to sleep) I had a small nightmare where Saul hated me... for some reason.

Finally, after I awoke from my slumber, I got to work on my Spanish homework, which I managed to finish on time. It was very story themed. I had to write another poem, reflecting on the events and themes in a story by Horacio Quiroga. Then, I had to record parts to a story. My section of the story was about these three musicians who were messaged by Travis Scott for his concert. It was a bit fun to write and record.

Unfortunately, it took me a while to do all of my Spanish homework because I keep procrastinating whenever I do work. I've tried a lot of techniques. One of them was installing a browser extension that gets me off YouTube, but it's paid for all the features, and the free one right now just cut me off and doesn't work anymore. I've also tried to have a timer going on but I keep going on my phone anyways. Even on my phone, I ignore all of the notifications for me to get off my phone. I've tried lots to get off my phone as well. I know I don't get any notifications from anyone anyways, but I keep going on Instagram and scrolling reels or watching crappy YouTube shorts instead of finishing my work! Interestingly enough, I work really well at night though.

Thanks for reading,
Issac
